Items that need approval first

Certain goods may be carried only with prior written approval, a permit or a licence, for example firearms parts, pharmaceuticals, plants, foodstuffs, chemicals and lithium batteries above carrier limits. The full approval list and the permits required are [TO CONFIRM, owner/legal: approval-required item list and permit requirements].

What happens if a prohibited item is found

If a prohibited item is found in a package we may refuse to carry it, hold it, return it at your cost, or hand it to the relevant authority. Where an item is seized by Customs or a carrier, we cannot recover it and no refund of freight is due. Repeat attempts may result in your account being closed.

Any handling, return or disposal fee that applies is [TO CONFIRM, owner/legal: handling, return and disposal fees].
